Plamica conducts environmental- and biological engineering for all relevant applications, including water and air purification using eco-friendly system, biofuel engineering, plant biotechnology (i.e. application of plant-derived bioactive compounds in nutritional and pharmaceutical fields, development an extraction kit for effectively obtaining of plants- and fungi derived anticancer agents).
We also develop plant-derived remedies for autoimmune disease and metastatic cancer. We endeavor to apply plant-derived bioactive compounds (i.e. water soluble polysaccharides and phytosterols) in inhibition oncogenes and those related abnormal pathways in metastatic cancer. Using the natural medicine resources, we also pay attention to manage the side effects caused by chemotherapy.
